We know that seeing the record sales of Lumia 900, a lot of manufacturers have started taking interest in the Windows Phone development and production sector and the latest addition to the line is Sony Ericsson, now known as Sony after the takeover. The video showcases a Prototype of a Slider Windows Phone code-named ”Julie” but stated to be “Jolie” in the video description.
The phone clearly has the Sony Ericsson label above the display, so it could also be termed as an abandoned project or one in thought before the takeover. The phone according to the video houses a 8.1 MP camera with HD support and flash. The phone is quite thick as it features a QWERTY sliding keyboard, though the OS do not look optimized for use with QWERTY keyboard yet, but as we all know its a prototype and not a final device, so we can expect a lot of changes in the final device. Well, we all know that Windows Phone 8 Apollo is on the verge of release and it might be the case that Sony is just waiting for the announcement to happen. Well here is the video of the prototype below, watch it and do let us know your views on the same.
