As soon as we see a popular device getting launched, we get ready for the most entertaining tests of them all, if you haven’t guessed it yet, well we are talking of those brutal drop tests.The device in question here is the Galaxy S III which we saw receiving the drop test but now we have a more detailed drop test courtesy of the folks at SquareTrade,  an electronics warranty fulfilment company which includes dropping the smartphones from ear-level, sliding from a car and thrown around by kids.

The other smartphone accompanying the Galaxy S III is the Apple iPhone 4S and if you thought the iPhone 4S was too fragile, watch this video because the Apple iPhone 4S is the one which comes out surviving all those tests while the Galaxy S III gets totally destroyed. The results are quite strange since the S III features the brand new Gorilla Glass 2 which is said to be even stronger than the first iteration of Corning’s glass but here the glass breaks in the first test itself.
